The ferris wheel

In 2021 a massive new attraction is being introduced to the Christmas Market in Trondheim, namely a 33m tall ferris wheel!

The Christmas market keeps getting bigger and better for every year since it first opened 20 years ago. In 2021, a bigger attraction than the city had ever seen at the Christmas Market has arrived and we are ready for a time filled with festive cheer and great new experiences.

With a maximum capacity of 144 people the ferris wheel has room for everyone to enjoy the views of the market and brightly lit city from an entirely new angle this year. Catch a ride, enjoy the views and create unique Christmas memories!

The ferris wheel will be at Torvet throughout the duration of the Christmas Market (1st-19th December) and will be open for business from 11am-7pm every day of the week.

Each gondola has a capacity of 6 people. The total max capacity on the ferris wheel is 144 people.
You need to be at least 1m tall to ride the ferris wheel alone. If you are under 1m a guardian is required to accompany you on the ride.
